The Binary Pay Plan Whopper

Network marketing’s binary pay plan whopper, also known as the ‘fear of loss’ or ‘urgency’ pitch goes something like this:

“I have Mr./Ms. Heavy Hitter’s credit card details and his/her big $$$ order. I’ll be locking in his/her spot in the next few hours. How would you like to have him/her in your downline? Join us immediately with a big $$$ order and I’ll lock in your position above him/her.”

If you go for it, they’ll call someone else, this time using both of you as the bait; and so on…

Stop, take a deep breath and think, you do want to earn income, don’t you? Don’t allow yourself to be lured into a dark, lonely place on the inside of an inside binary compensation plan leg.
